West Texas Sunset: No Competition

On a trip to Hawaii, long, long ago, I ate in a restaurant whose claim to fame was the view of the spectacular sunset. And the sunset was every bit as beautiful as the rack of lamb was delicious. But a little way up the street I live on, the neighborhood gives way to undeveloped ground that rises to meet the setting sun and create vistas like this one. Jim captured it with the smallest camera he owns. Such grandeur in our own humble neighborhood.
